Breath is the force that sustains life; conscious breath is the force that sustains awareness. In the practice of yoga, the breath is fundamental.
Regulated breath opens the body and channels vital energy, or prana. Mindful breath facilitates equilibrium and supports the pose. Conscious breath provides focus and enables the mind to reach its meditative state.
The Om (or Aum) sign is the main symbol of Hinduism, it signifies God, Creation, & the One-ness of all creation. The three portions of AUM relate to the states of waking, dream and deep sleep. The three letters also indicates three planes of existence, heaven, earth and netherworld. Aum is said to be the essence of the Vedas and is considered the sound of the Sun and the sound of Light.
The charm necklace hangs appx. 3/4" x 1/2" and is suspended on an 18" rhodium plated sterling silver 3 bead + 1 bar chain. The charm are sterling silver and stamped .925. Due to the individuality of gemstones, each one will have their own characteristics and may not match the photo exactly.
