A great heart shaped pendant with 'adopt' and a paw print in the center is crafted in alpaca silver and accented with a heart cut out and brass heart. Show your love and concern for dogs and cats everywhere when you wear this great looking necklace. This pendant hangs from a silver plated chain that is 18" in length. Alpaca silver is a term for a jeweler's alloy of copper, zinc and nickel, also known as "German Silver" or "Nickel Silver. Since some people can have a reaction to nickel, alpaca silver is used only in areas of the jewelry that do not have prolonged contact with the skin. The back of this pendant is plated in brass.
