Word of the Year

Happy New Year everyone! There's been a lot of talk about choosing a 'word of the year' in my circles lately. I've given it some thought, and I feel the word Rebirth is the most appropriate for this new year. After the robbery, our company had to regroup, reassess and redefine. When you've been in the business 20 years, like I have, and all the sudden you find yourself back at square one... well, it gives a person quite a bit to think about. I'm still thinking, honestly. What's important? What isn't important? What makes my heart sing?

I'm embracing 2017 with open arms, excited for this new chapter in my life. As I move forward, I'll keep my word of the year tucked in the back of my mind... Rebirth.
