Essential Oil Jewelry for the Oil Obsessed
I got pretty serious about essential oils 6 years ago or so….making germ busting hand sprays for friends and family, perfume roll-ons, cleaners, etc. Once I had my first child, and life got a lot busier, essential oils got put on the back burner. Over the past couple of years I’ve had energy workers and holistic doctors recommend specific oils for me use, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that I really got back into them. One of the moms at my daughter’s school sold Young Living oils and I asked if she had anything that would help my annoying hay fever. She said blending lavender, lemon and peppermint oil did the trick for most people. I ended up buying a Young Living starter kit, since it came with all the oils (plus 8 more) and a diffuser. I liked the idea of being able to diffuse the oils in my home or studio. I can’t be anywhere near artificial fragrances without instantly getting a headache and feeling sick, but natural fragrances never bothered me. I fell in love with the oils, and quickly became obsessed with them! Lemon in my water? Yes please! Peppermint to help my headache? Bam! Thieves oils rubbed on my families feet at bedtime to protect us from school germs? Oh heck ya!
It wasn’t long before I wanted to have my key go-to oils with me at all times. I started looking at diffuser jewelry, but just couldn’t find what I was looking for. After a lot of research I came up with several options that I’m pretty excited about - and the best part? They're great for children and adults alike! (My daughter has been wearing hers to school with her favorite oil.)
